I hope everyone has had a lovely Easter with plenty of sweet treats. I made my first ever hot cross buns which turned out very well. I served them with a spiced honey butter which is delicious and even better once the hot cross buns are toasted as it melts all into the bun! Plenty of butter left so it will be perfect on toast or with cinnamon and raisin bagels. I also made a lovely chocolate treat for children and adults alike, an easter chocolate fridge cake.
It is lovely to cook at this time for year for friends and family and of course of all my lovely guests who visit my secret tea room.
